VeriTest Fair Testing Practices Statement

A VeriTest report always discloses the test objectives, results, and methodologies used to produce the report. A trusted, independent process that stands up to industry scrutiny is vital to the value of VeriTest services. We believe that integrity and disclosure benefit everyone involved in the testing process, and we're committed to these guiding principles. We do not endorse any vendors or products. We disclose the objective, technical results and methodologies of a test and allow the resulting performance to speak for itself.

• When a client uses our test results for marketing purposes and attributes those results to VeriTest:
• We prohibit omission of fact, process, or methodology.
• We approve all advertising copy.
• We make the complete test report available in its entirety on our Web site.
• All our test reports clearly identify whether research has been commissioned and, if so, by whom.
• We do not endorse any vendors or products, nor do we sell IT products in the categories that we test.
• We disclose the version numbers of all items we test, and generally use currently-available production code for all competitive product evaluations.
• We ensure that we have appropriate rights to all products we test.
• We use standards-based testing methods whenever possible.

VeriTest is a publicly-owned organization. We fully disclose our affiliations and partnerships with industry vendors.
