TTA Certified Product
Program Overview
The "VeriTest-TTA Certified Product" program provides a set of quality standards and an independent testing program that Korean ISVs use to easily and cost-effectively evaluate their IT products. The standards developed by VeriTest and TTA promote “Good Quality” software by validating functionality, compatibility, performance, usability and compliance with internationalization requirements.
Developers with products that are tested and shown to meet the certification standards can leverage the logo in their marketing efforts, and participate in VeriTest and TTA’s program to promote certified products to a worldwide audience. VeriTest and TTA are committed to enhancing the quality standards as new technologies emerge.
This testing ensures your product functions properly on operating systems ranging from varieties of UNIX to Microsoft® Windows Desktop and Server families.
Testing is conducted by the independent VeriTest-TTA lab and results are provided in a pass/fail format. Testing is usually completed in ten to fifteen working days. Requirements used during the testing process are available at the TTA website, and cover the following areas:
- Core Functionality
- Compatibility & Functionality per platform (OS)
- Usability
- Performance (optional)
- Internationalization (optional)
Participating ISVs can receive assistance in designing to the test specification during their development cycle.
Available Certifications
We offer four distinct testing and certification options, based on the type of testing conducted. You choose the best testing plan for your product.
- VeriTest/TTA Certified ‘Good Quality’
Products bearing this logo have been independently tested against standards in the following areas: Functionality, Platform Compatibility and Usability.
- VeriTest/TTA Certified ‘Good Quality & Optimized Performance’
Products bearing this logo have met all the requirements for the ‘Good Quality’ logo, and additionally been tested against Performance standards.
- VeriTest/TTA Certified ‘Good Quality & Internationalized’
Products bearing this logo have met all the requirements for the ‘Good Quality’ logo, and additionally been tested against Internationalization standards.
- VeriTest/TTA Certified ‘Good Quality, Optimized Performance & Internationalized’
Products bearing this logo have met all the requirements for the ‘Good Quality’ logo, and additionally been tested against Performance and Internationalization standards.

Instructions
The certification process for the TTA logo is simple:
Step 1. Please contact us for pricing information and a testing schedule.
Step 2. Email VeriTest when you're ready to register.
Step 3. Submit your application and its documentation to TTA.
Step 4. The TTA Test Engineer will contact you if necessary to resolve technical issues during test. You will be given a reasonable opportunity to fix any issues that do arise.
Step 5. Upon completion of your test, you will receive a Final Test Report as well as a Certificate of Completion.
Pricing
The pricing for this program is subsidized by the MIC (Ministry of Information and Communication) in Korea and is dependent on the size and complexity of your application. TTA bases pricing on an analysis of your application, operating environment(s) supported and certification type. To request a price estimate, please email us.
In the event that an application consistently fails and a retest can be performed in a reasonable time frame, you may be eligible for a $500 discount off the base price of the test, applicable at TTA's discretion.
Languages
Your product can be submitted in either Korean or English. Additional language coverage can be included - please inquire.
