Canon Compatible Test Program

Program Overview

Canon USA is committed to helping their customers meet their digital office needs by delivering best-in-class products and solutions. As part of that commitment, Canon USA developed the Canon Alliance and Industry Marketing Program. This enables Canon USA to work together with other leading software and hardware companies to deliver new solutions that bring added value and satisfaction to end-customers.

In October 2004, Canon USA unveiled the Canon Compatible logo as a component of the Canon Alliance and Industry Marketing Program. Canon USA Alliance Partners submit their solutions to VeriTest, to undergo controlled laboratory testing for basic compatibility and interoperability verification with Canon's imageRUNNER and CLC devices. Partners' solutions that meet basic marketing and compatibility requirements will be eligible to promote their solutions as "Canon Compatible".

The VeriTest testing process centers around creating a testing environment that closely mirrors the environment of the solution's target audience and the workflow the user is likely to employ. Upon completion of the test, the test results are published on our Compatible Products page as a public validation of third party solution compatibility with Canon imageRUNNER and CLC devices.

Canon Compatible reports provide customers with information about the compatibility between the application and the Canon devices. You should determine whether these products are appropriate for your own particular use requirements. Canon does not warrant or guarantee these third-party solutions in any way.
